Wet Paint, Plein Air...

     This 10x15, oil/linen panel was an exercise in looking for the warm and cool values on the dormer and roof while keeping the colors clean. The simplicity of the subject matter was deceiving once I began dealing with the perspective and all the various reflections in the glass, the roof and even the shadowed areas ...

Excellent! It's a lot of information to contend with. I really love the extra highlight in the lower right window. (I was going to say you nailed the roof, but that just didn't sound right!).

Hey Liz, Thanks for your comments! Better to have nailed the roof than to have bought the farm, eh? I have to thank the sudden appearance of a thunder storm that kept me from going too far with the roof.
