Big Cypress Moon

SOLD
30x40, Oil/Canvas
Collection Loxahatchee Club, Jupiter, Florida

I recently went to Big Cypress National Preserve for the first time... We were there for a day and did not even begun to sink our little toe into the beauty of nature to be found in this great swamp of the Everglades. It seemed alligators were lining every dirt road and canal and the variety of water birds was endless... I can not wait to go there for some plein air work.
Big Cypress Moon is a studio piece I did from reference photos...

I missed this one Greg! Love it! I can't remember if I went there on one of my trips. Didn't we go to Jupiter at one point? I will be in Ft. Lauderdale on the 18th. I'll give you a call when I get in. Look forward to seeing you!
