After wiping off the first painting today at Bonnet House, I decided to use the paint left on my palette with a half hour to use it. This little 6x8, oil/linen panel is the result... somedays are just that way!
Thanks, r! But don't envy too quickly... I think my time limit was fueled by the frustrations of dawdling and bad habits that made the first painting take a turn! With this one, I kept hearing Hawthorn, "generalize spots of color in a landscpe...." Wish I had listened earlier!

Beautiful palette and I especially enjoy those colors and forms on the tree trunks. Really nice, Greg!
